A diagnostic test gives you a real-world experience of what it's like to take the SAT. It is a full-length standardized test, administered under realistic conditions including a "time's-up-pencils-down" environment, which is exactly what you'll see on the day you take the test for real. Taking the test ahead of time helps to reduce the number of unknowns on exam day!
