I have years of experience in the building trades, and a great deal of hands-on experience that is invaluable during a home inspection. My name is Darrell Clegg, Certified Professional Home Inspector of Left Coast Inspections. Left Coast inspections was born from a love of buildings, a love of working with people, and many years of hands-on experience working on people's homes as a licensed general contractor.

A home inspection, by nature, is a non-invasive inspection of the home. Our industry is governed by Standards of Practice by several organizations - but we consider these a basis, not the limit of a home inspection. We go above and beyond the SOP to give you the best home inspection possible. As part of that, I include a "limited" thermal scan with all of our home inspections.

He was very accommodating conducting their inspection during my travel in days. As a first time home buyer, I really appreciated the post inspection walk through, his patience with my long list of questions, and his follow up after the inspection if I had any other concerns. I called a few days later and he quickly returned my call same day. The final report came back only a couple days after and was extremely well detailed that gave us more confidence in finalizing our purchase.

Darrell came out on pretty short notice - which I realize won't always happen, but we appreciated the quick turnaround because of the time crunch we were in. Extremely thorough, very professional and gave a detailed report on our home inspection. I love that photos were included, and that there was a color-code of sorts so you could quickly see what items were critical versus just needing correcting. Thank you!

We could not be any more satisfied; great Job Darrell ! We hired Darrell of Left Coast Inspections for the inspection on a home we were purchasing and could not have been more pleased. The report is very thorough, Darrell walked through the entire house with us to show us everything he inspected, and has made himself available to answer our questions.
