I have years of experience in the building trades, and a great deal of hands-on experience that is invaluable during a home inspection. My name is Darrell Clegg, Certified Professional Home Inspector of Left Coast Inspections. Left Coast inspections was born from a love of buildings, a love of working with people, and many years of hands-on experience working on people's homes as a licensed general contractor.
The transition to a home inspection business was a natural one, as many homeowners and property managers entrusted my expertise to pinpoint needed repairs for their properties to improve their home lives and increase their property values.I am not the typical home inspector with a clip board and little experience in the field.

A home inspection, by nature, is a non-invasive inspection of the home. Our industry is governed by Standards of Practice by several organizations - but we consider these a basis, not the limit of a home inspection. We go above and beyond the SOP to give you the best home inspection possible. As part of that, I include a "limited" thermal scan with all of our home inspections.

Think about Home Inspection prices just like you do many other purchases in your day to day life. The least expensive does not always mean the best, in fact that is rarely the case. Extremely thorough and an expert at his craft. I appreciate the excellent report. All building discrepancies were described with helpful pictures and comments. The inspection was performed quickly and professionally. Inspector was very informative and professinal. Darrell was wonderful, not only did he do a great job he spent as much time as my husband and I needed to go over his findings.
