With Partial Knee Replacement the incision is small, there's less pain, faster recovery and most patients are walking within 2-3 days. Hip replacement is designed for people whose x-rays show arthritis and have not had satisfactory pain relief with non-surgical treatment. Knee Surgery
Report
Although knee problems can result from injury or trauma, as we age we are most likely to experience knee pain caused by osteoarthritis. This is sometimes called "wear and tear" arthritis because the cartilage, the soft tissue that cushions and protects the bones in the knee, gradually wears away, much like the tread on a tire.
Partial Knee Replacement
Report
Our orthopedic surgeons provide Partial Knee Replacement (resurfacing) in place of Total Knee Replacement when possible. They will repair your knee rather than replace it! Partial knee replacement (resurfacing) is a small-incision procedure that can greatly benefit people who have arthritis in only one compartment of the knee.
