Dr. Michael Whiteley opened the doors to Tomball Familicare in 1984 and has over 40 years medical experience. His mission is to keep his patients as healthy as possible by providing effective and compassionate general medicine. The patients range from pediatrics to geriatrics. Dr. Whiteley, as a family practice physician, treats a large variety of medical conditions, from acute illness to chronic disease.
Most insurance plans are accepted, and he also offers significant savings for uninsured patients. Dr. Whiteley feels medical care should be both affordable and high quality. Due to his many years of experience he is also a well respected teaching clinical instructor for area medical and nursing schools.

Dr. Whiteley has been practicing medicine since 1978. He grew up in the Houston area and attended Spring Woods Senior High. He later attended the University of Houston and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology with honors. He studied medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center- Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated 1st in his medical school class with top honors.
