Pilates Underground is not a gym or a fitness studio; we are a small band of well trained, highly experienced body mechanics and consultants whose aim is to subvert the physical status quo in order to help engineer smarter, better bodies. We use primarily Pilates, but we don't limit ourselves to a single method in our quest to help you navigate your best life in your best body.

There is no online booking for private/duo sessions. 55-minute, individually tailored sessions are the perfect way to learn the Pilates method. Pilates is a very specific, unique way of training one's body that requires precision and attention to detail that is best learned one-on-one.

Utilizing the various apparatus invented by Joseph Pilates, such as the Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Reformer, your instructor will guide you through the exercises so that you can develop the proper form and technique that will allow you to get the most out of your practice.

What is Pilates? Pilates is a system of more than 500 exercises developed by Joseph Pilates over the course of his lifetime that challenges and conditions the body as a whole. Using his own body to experiment, Joseph Pilates created a balanced blend of strength and flexibility training that improves posture, balance, breath and creates long, lean muscles.
