Engine Repowering
We specialize in outboard engine replacements with Suzuki models ranging from 2.5 to 350 horsepower. We service outboards, diesel engines, generators, AC units, and marine electronics. We specialize in Power-Pole installations, Minn Kota repairs, and Suzuki outboard repowering projects.
Do you offer mobile service outside St. Augustine?
Our mobile service covers St. Johns, Flagler, and Volusia Counties. We require proper lift access for certain repairs but accommodate most dock configurations within these service areas.
Are you an emergency marine service provider?
We are not an emergency service. For urgent situations, contact Sea Tow at 386-264-8978. We handle scheduled appointments Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
How do I schedule a service appointment?
Due to high call volume, we recommend filling out our online repair form. Leave a detailed message with your contact information and service requirements for prompt follow-up.
What engines do you not service?
We cannot service gas engines older than 2009, small portable engines (2-20HP), jet skis, jet boats, I/O gas motors, or Johnson Evinrude engines due to parts availability limitations.
Can I upgrade my boat's horsepower rating?
Horsepower upgrades must comply with the boat manufacturer's original specifications. Our technicians will verify your vessel's capacity before recommending any engine power modifications.

Have used JM marine for last 7 years for a variety of repairs. Need a new impeller for 40 hp Merc. Called him on 19 Nov 2021. Called back and was told will no longer work on any motor older than 2005. Im left I the lurch. When these type of mobile repair firms start out will take any business! But once established throw old customers to the curb. This is 2nd time this has happened to me. Very disappointing & discouraging!

We dropped off our boat to have the Spot lock repaired prior to Snapper season. They were very busy but assured us they would have the motor back to us in time and they sure did! We live in Volusia and the trip was well worth it! Would not hesitate to use them in the future and recommend you do as well!

Not only has my boat not ran in two years- it was completely destroyed by two other mechanics who just never showed back up. The JM marine team are very professional when answering phones/emails/ they have a great system! Jim the mechanic is beyond words! He knows how to explain everything in terms I myself can understand. Needless to say- after two years, two mechanics later my engines were up and running with Jims knowledge. I cannot thank JM Marine enough for their hard work and dedication to getting me back on the water!

I have been looking for a good marine mechanic for 5 years in Flagler County. Jim and his Wife are two knowledgeable honest folks that I can trust. They have helped me out twice so far, both times letting me know they were busy and would not be able to support till X-date. Both times they met or beat their commitment. Not only was the work done when expected, but it was also completed with excellent skill.

Awesome communication and service. They truly value the relationship with their clients as well as the boat they are servicing. Our Searay has seen some better days, but Jim and his staff are great at getting in touch with us and letting us know exactly what is going on to try to get it back and on the water. We couldnt be more impressed with their service.
