Located on The Larsen Family's Stone Mountain Farm, the Rail Trail Cafe is a great destination for a quick recharge, snack, breakfast, lunch or an evening meal. We offer an evolving menu that changes weekly with the seasons, serving produce that comes out of our nearby gardens and a number of local friends and farms including Solid Ground Farm, Seed Song Farm, Farmer's Table Farm, Insook's Produce and the Wild Hive Grain project.
Our music programming is a workshop for wide-ranging and eclectic experiments featuring the best in local folk, jazz, world music. Our goal is to make our food's trip from the earth to your mouth as short as possible and do it in a way that is delicious, sustainable and memorable. The bulk of our ingredients come from the immediate Hudson Valley area. Rail Trail Salad Solid Ground farm lettuce mix, assorted micro greens, marinated red cabbage, edible flowers, roasted pumpkin seeds and our famous chive dressing.

An all day affair with local ANA, Neetopk Keeptopk, Mid Hudson Chapter of Amnesty International and activist groups from Ulster County. Songs, Ceremony and Presentations on the US Boarding Schools for Native Children. The 2021 edition of Balkan Music Afternoon at the Rail Trail Cafe will feature bands from around the Hudson Valley that play Eastern European dance and listening music.
