Aikido Center of Manasquan is a traditional Aikido Dojo located at Manasqaun Recreation, St. Denis School (eastern end), 90 Union Ave. (rear), Manasquan, NJ 08736. At Aikido Center of Manasquan we teach traditional Aikido as handed down by the Founder of Aikido, affectionately known as O Sensei (Great Teacher).
We hold to his inspired vision-emphasizing Aikido's philosophy and ethics while at the same time teaching Aikido's full range of capabilities from gentle persuasion to full street effectiveness. SMT FITNESS {(S)amurai (M)ust (T)rain Fitness} is a combination of all the years of physical training disciplines by Founder Tim Vazquez, to include the use of the BOKKEN, a traditional wooden sword! SMT FITNESS is an advanced form of physical training that incorporates different exercise philosophies and co-mingles them with traditional samurai bokken (wooden sword) training.

We are now members of the Manasquan Recreation Department. We are located at St. Denis Elementary School - eastern end, 90 Union Ave (rear) Manasquan. DO NOT GET LOST. Go all the way to the end of the ST. Denis parking lot, all the way in the back, and you will see the Aikido signs. The entrance is through the big glass doors entering the gym area.
