Scherzo Music School was founded in the year 2000 to serve the San Francisco Bay Area as a quality music educator. Located in San Mateo, Scherzo Music School continues to serve our community on the core beliefs that music can be taught and learned at any age, and any level, a proper music education should be accessible to all children, and that it is never too late to start learning.
Rentals

Scherzo Music School offer instrument rentals: Violin, flute, clarinet, trumpet, oboe, trombone, viola, cello, guitar, harp and ukulele to the public. Instrument rental is for a minimum of 3 months. Deposit and monthly fee depend on the instrument rented. The school offers the option to instrument upgrade and size changes as the student grows and develop more refined music skills.

Scherzo Music School piano lessons are an excellent way to introduce children as young as 4 years old to the benefits of music. Lessons at Scherzo Music School does not follow a "one size fits all" approach. We design each students approach based on the cognitive and dextral development of each of our students.
