Audio Intrusion Detection
Sonitrol WNY's audio intrusion detection uses sound-based technology to verify break-ins in real time. Unlike motion sensors, our system allows monitoring professionals to listen and watch incidents, reducing false alarms by 95%. This patented process has led to over 178,000 nationwide apprehensions while minimizing unnecessary police dispatches.
Access Control
Our access control systems track and restrict facility entry using encrypted credentials. Integration with audio detection automatically disarms alarms when authorized users enter, eliminating false triggers. Clients can manage permissions remotely through mySonitrol WNY.net, generating entry reports and scheduling door locks/unlocks for enhanced security and operational efficiency.
Fire Detection
Sonitrol WNY's fire detection systems monitor smoke, heat, and sprinkler systems 24/7. Our NICET-certified engineers design solutions meeting NFPA and ADA standards, integrating with elevator recall and voice evacuation systems. Real-time verification ensures rapid dispatch of emergency services while temperature monitoring protects cold storage facilities against inventory loss.
Digital Video Surveillance
Our high-resolution cameras provide 24/7 visual monitoring with remote access via mobile app. Integration with audio detection creates verified video clips during alarms, giving police real-time incident details. SonaVision technology supports multi-sensor coverage for warehouses, retail spaces, and critical infrastructure with cloud-based storage and instant playback capabilities.
Mobile App Monitoring
The Sonitrol WNY mobile app enables real-time system control from smartphones or tablets. Users can arm/disarm systems, view live cameras, and receive instant alerts. Remote access to 3xLOGIC Vigil DVRs allows video playback from any location, while access control management features let administrators update permissions and track employee activity across multiple facilities.

I find Sonitrol Security Systems to be a Professional and knowledgeable Security Company. The technician support has been extremely helpful, friendly and go out of their way to make sure we are satisfied with the service either on the phone, by email or on site. Their equipment has never been an issue. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to work with a Professional Security Systems Company.

There a joke I've called 4 numbers and all of them give me the busy tone and had to sit at my store for 15 minutes waiting for my alarm to arm

Report
I serve as the leasing director of an apartment complex who has unfortunately and regrettably spent thousands of dollars with this company for security cameras. The cameras go out multiple times per week, do not offer the coverage or quality that was promised, and there is never anyone within the company who is willing to help resolve these issues. We would not recommend that anyone uses this company for their security needs. We are beyond disappointed and feel robbed. Beware of Sonitrol Security they are a total rip off.
