Centrally located in Clear Lake, our studio is at the corner of El Camino Real and Oakgrove, between Nasa Road 1 and Bay Area Blvd, in the two story white & brick building right next to Tiger's Den Karate. Just pull around to the parking lot in the back and come inside for a vist, we'll even make some coffee!

Performing and also employed as a music teacher in the Houston area for over 20 years (as well as touring in India and Thailand), Ed Motter-Vlahakos custom fits curriculum to the students particular learning style and playing goals.
Ed teaches musical literacy (learning to sight read and notate) using elements from the Suzuki Method along with a variety of other established programs, with special emphasis on a linguistic approach to music performance and improvisation.Ed currently teaches violin, viola, cello, upright and electric bass, acoustic and electric guitar, ukulele, harp, mandolin, psaltery, flute, Irish whistle, duduk, and lute.
