Two Dragons Martial Arts Martial Arts fosters a collaborative learning environment that connects family, school, and community, encouraging students to achieve their full academic and personal potential. Founded in 1995 by Sipoo Shelene Hearring and the late Si Tai Gung Steve Hearring, our studio has served the Altadena and Pasadena communities for over 30 years. We believe martial arts training strengthens character, sharpens judgment, and cultivates sensitivity, preparing students to become leaders, problem-solvers, and model citizens who display integrity and respect. Our instructors receive ongoing weekly training in martial arts and teaching methodologies to ensure the highest quality instruction. Recognized as Best of Pasadena for 10 consecutive years and recipient of the LA County 5th District John Anson Ford Human Relations Award, we offer disciplines including Chaun Shu, Chinese Kenpo, Northern Silum Kung Fu, and Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan.

Under Sipoo Shelene Hearring's leadership, a Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee, we continue our mission to train students to exceed excellence. Our community is built on mutual respect, self-discipline, and the belief that martial arts training strengthens not only physical skills but also character and judgment. We provide a vibrant, award-winning environment where families develop life skills through martial arts. Our programs cater to students of all ages, from Little Dragons (ages 3-6) to adults, emphasizing self-defense, discipline, and confidence. With a legacy rooted in the teachings of Senior Grandmaster Ed Parker, we remain committed to empowering lives through martial arts excellence.
