Winter Haven Dermatology is a general dermatology practice treating patients from newborn to 100 + years old. Our focus is on skin cancer but we provide assessment and treatment for all skin conditions. We consider every patient unique and deserving of an individual approach to their skin problems.

Some of the therapies we offer include biologic therapies for psoriasis and eczema, oral and topical treatments for acne, biopsies, topical chemotherapy, cryotherapy, electrodessication, surgical excision and Mohs micrographic surgery. For those cases where the necessary treatment is beyond the scope of our practice, we partner with our trusted colleagues in the community to achieve the desired outcomes.

Acne and rosacea
Report
While it's important to wash your face, washing too many times a day can irritate your skin, causing new breakouts. Are you faithfully treating your acne but still seeing new breakouts? Your skin care routine could be to blame. If you wake up to find a few large pimples on your otherwise clear face, you may consider that severe acne.

Working out affects skin in good and not-so-good ways. Here is how to protect it while getting fit. Working out regularly can help maintain your weight, boost your overall mood and self-esteem, motivate you to eat healthier, and do wonders for your skin. Prevent acne: To remove sweat during a workout, use a clean towel and gently pat the sweat from your skin.
