During the school year Red Balloon offers early education for children 6 weeks thru Pre Kindergarten. We help build a foundation for young children in a warm loving environment. In the summer we offer a day camp program for children through 11 years of age. Children can sample a variety of fun activities such as arts & crafts, swimming, field trips, sports and more.
We also offer the optional gymnastics, karate, and soccer classes. For prospective families we do ask you to call and schedule a tour. This allows us to give you the proper attention and time for you to see our facility and ask questions. The Red Balloon Preschool & Child Care, Inc. is privately owned and was established in 1968.

Infant Room
Report
Our infant room is a safe, nurturing environment where each child is kept on their own individual schedule which is provided to us by their parents. Each infant has their own individual crib as well as individual spaces for their diapers, wipes, extra clothes, and food. We provide age appropriate materials and activites that promote their fine and gross motor skills.
Toddler Room

Our young toddlers will continue to exhibit parallel play and start learning to socialize with other children. Children in our toddler room are introduced to colors, shapes, letters, and numbers. They will be building their fine motor skills, gross motor skills, cognitive skills, and language skills through play, music, and art.
Early Preschool Room

The Early Preschool Room is designed for children who are two and a half years old and are ready for short periods of group activities such as circle time and story time. The Early Preschool Room provides developmentally appropriate learning materials and activities that will enhance the children's physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language development.

Our goal for our preschool class is to provide our children with more challenging hands-on activities to increase their social, emotional, cognitive, fine, and gross motor skills. We review colors and shapes with our preschoolers.
The preschool class consists of the introduction of early reading (letter recognition and letter sounds), writing (tracing basic shapes, lines, letters and numbers), and math (number recognition, counting and one-to-one coorespondence) concepts.Stories, songs, fingerplays, movement and exercise, and large and small group activities are incorporated in our daily routine.

We offer a developmentally appropriate curriculum, providing for all areas of your child's development. Our Pre-K advances skills in core academic areas such as literacy, math, and science, to ensure school readiness. Our child-centered approach is designed to help each child thrive in all areas of child development including: problem solving, creative thinking, and heathy habits, with an emphasis on their social and emotional well-being.
