BHC - Trusted IT, began in 1996 as Benjamin Hill Consulting, a one-man IT service shop that was primarily started to provide a means of covering the financial burden of college for the 'one-man', Benjamin Hill. In those days he worked with MS-DOS systems and Novell Netware servers networks on a regular basis and was involved with the transition of many companies from token-ring and/or coax networks to more modern Ethernet-based CAT5 systems.

We will install and use only properly licensed software on any system we service. If improperly licensed software is discovered we will make our client aware of the issue and provide a proposal to correct the issue and maintain license compliance. We will divulge any potential conflicts of interest prior to accepting a project or as soon as possible after the conflict is discovered.

Looking back over our many years of providing IT services, we have found that clients that allow us to provide on-going routine maintenance, along with planned obsolescence of equipment, tend to benefit in two major ways. First, they have less unexpected outages. Second, they have less unexpected invoices from us.

Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS) is not a new idea by any means. For decades, large-copier companies have offered businesses the option to 'lease' their copier and bundle-in services for an annual fee that would include some maintenance and care for the hardware during the term of the lease.

For whatever the reason, it has only been more recently that businesses have seen the benefit to a similar arrangement for their servers, workstations, and other devices.BHC-Trusted IT currently offers Hardware-as-a-Service bundled with our Managed Service offering as a method for a business to obtain either an entry-level server (1 or 2 virtual machine load), a mid-class level server (3-5 virtual machine load), or our 3CX phone system solutions.

For some businesses, the traditional service model of 'break-fix' (you break it, you call us, we fix it) may be the best way to engage with our services. For those clients, we offer hourly labor rates that are competitive in the local market. We find hourly support often becomes a balancing act between being fast and doing our best work.
