Traditional face-to-face classes are usually held from 8:30 A.M.-4:30 P.M. on 4 scheduled class sessions. State-mandated Parent Orientation is scheduled prior to the first day of class. We will only offer Virtual Classes when we deem necessary. Virtual classes are held for 5 days (9 A.M.-4 P.M.). They are highly interactive such that we see/hear our students, and they see/hear us.

Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections Office of Motor Vehicles requires anyone 18 years of age or older who wants to get a driver's license must take a 14 Hour Pre-licensing Course, which includes 6 hours of in-class instruction and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel driving and to complete a Road Skills Test.

If you have already registered for a driving course with us, we thank you! Be certain that you have gone to the OMV and obtained your Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP Card). You must have it to attend class every day. After you have passed the 6 hours (18+ year olds) or 30 hours (15-17 year olds) of classroom instruction, you will start your behind-the-wheel portion of the class.
Road Skills Testing

Bass Driving School, LLC is licensed by the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) to administer the Road Skills Test. Please register for your Road Skills Test well in advance of your scheduled test at www.bassdrivingschool.com. The fee is $40 for administration of the test and $10 for utilization of our certified administrator, certified vehicle, and the cost to operate this vehicle.

If this describes you, then please complete the required information (at least a week prior to the test) to take your Road Skills Test. The fee for the Road Skills Test is $40 plus $10 for use of our certified vehicle and instructor, insurance, gasoline, etc. It is due when you take the test. Please bring a money order for the $50 on the day you take your Road Skills Test.
