Jim is a founder of Epix Aviation and the director of its maintenance department. He is an FAA certified mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings and an Inspection Authorization (IA). He has been engaged in aircraft maintenance and aviation maintenance technician training for over 32 years.

With dual Garmin GPS navigation systems and an upgraded 180HP engine, this 172 climbs like mad and is an ideal platform for long cross-country flights. N2552Q is the latest addition to our fleet, providing a great balance between training and cross country utility.

We offer training in a wide variety of ratings, as well as endorsements for tail wheel flying and training for competition level aerobatics.
