Our History

We began business in 1971 as Mountain Realty Incorporated, after having done business under name of Hiawassee Land Company with partners Hal Herrin & Ernie Dowdy for a short time prior. The sales agents were licensed in GA & NC, and even at one time an agent was licensed in Tennessee also. Hal Herrin was Principal Broker until he sold business to Carmolita Haney in 1989.
