We are diamond specialists and buy from a very small number of merchants so that we can be confident that our diamonds are Conflict-Free. Every diamond is personally selected and this enables us to offer stones of the highest colour and clarity at very sensible prices. Most of our diamonds of 0.30 carats and above have an independent laboratory certificate.

Our 'in-house' studio and workshop with the latest high-tech laser welding facility, offers a design and manufacturing service that is unrivalled in the Derby area. Ring sizing, re-shanking, stone replacement and many other repair processes are offered.

Sympathetic restoration of antique jewellery is carried out to an exceptionally high standard and we are able to correct previous repairs that have been carried out with lead solder (complete removal of the lead is achieved by a chemical process that leaves the original gold or silver free of contamination).Many of our repair and alteration services can be carried out on a same-day or 24 hour basis providing that a prior appointment is arranged.

Please be aware that in the event of an insurance claim, you are entitled to use your jeweller of choice. Do not allow your insurance company to force you to go to a jeweller who you would not normally choose to use and do not let them force you to use vouchers. Michael Hall jewellery cleaner is biologically active and is the most effective gemstone cleaner available. Method of use: mix about half a teaspoonful of the concentrate with a small cup of warm (not hot)water. Immerse the jewellery in it and leave in a warm place overnight. In the morning, rinse well under the tap and your diamonds will sparkle like new.
