Village Dance Studio began in 1977 and has been teaching dance to the Zionsville & surrounding community ever since. With a strong foundation in ballet, VDS has grown and evolved through the years to include hip hop, jazz, modern, tap, pointe, creative movement, and more. Emphasis is placed on technique while at the same time presenting a fun, non-competitive dance experience.

Services
Please note: We will follow the CDC recommendations, talk with local health officials, and seek direction from our own VDS medical advisory committee in regards to safety measures needed this school year. We do not currently have a full mask policy mapped out for the coming season, but will update as soon as we do.
No registration fee! A credit card or check is only accepted if paying for the entire year in one payment. Payment can be made online following a confirmation email of your registered classes. If not paying in full, tuition is spread over nine monthly payments taken through automatic bank withdrawals.
All fitness classes are taught by qualified Village Dance Studio Instructors and are recommended for adults & teens. See pricing for fitness classes HERE. Tap Fitness, lead by Marissa Castillo, combines a fast paced fitness workout in tap shoes. The sounds of the taps give you instant gratification as you move your way through fast-paced, follow-along combinations.
Absolutely no crop tops, exposed underwear, or "booty-shorts" without tights permitted. Girls- Black leotard (preferably without skirt) pink tights & pink ballet shoes. Creative Dance- Ballet I: Low pony tail or pig tails work well for tumbling. Ballet VI-IX: Tight Bun, no "flyaways". Ballet skirt can be worn during barre.
