Michael Cates and his wife, Jodie, started a one-man construction company while Michael was working as a full-time firefighter in the Dallas area. Over the years, business began to grow, as did their family. In 2005, having a 3-year-old son and 5-year-old twin girls, Michael and Jodie decided it was time to build a house that better suite the families needs and began construction on their dream home.
After the build was complete, the family and business moved to the Cedar Creek Lake community. Today the Cates family are driven to give back to the community they love, where they have been active members in numerous organizations. At Firehouse Construction, we welcome and encourage client participation at every step in the process.
