In 1924, a group of postal employees met in the basement of the downtown Knoxville Post Office. This visionary group recognized the importance of the credit union movement and became the first members/owners of the Knoxville Post Office Credit Union. As charter members, they organized the credit union using the basic concept of a cooperative, non-profit financial institution.

Your children and grandchildren can use this account to "Shoot for the Stars" and learn how much fun saving can be! Membership is open from birth to 12 years of age. With this account, we also offer a One-year Tailored Certificate. The minimum opening balance to earn dividends for this certificate is $500.
