Vaughn Pharmacy was established in 1966 before being purchased by Dwight and Andrea Disney in 1988.
The couple had dreamed of owning their own small-town pharmacy with Dwight running the pharmacy and Andrea doing the book keeping. We like to keep a fully stocked store for your convenience when you stop by to pick up your prescriptions or just to say Hello to our friendly team. Sometimes your nutrition needs to be supplemented.

Vaughn Pharmacy was established in 1966 when brothers Jack & E.S Bevins teamed up with Dr. Cecil Russell to open a medical practice and pharmacy. Bill Vaughn had been working at Farragut Drugs at the time and came on board as a pharmacist. The drugstore was originally called Bevins-Vaughn and occupied just one-quarter of the building.

At Vaughn Pharmacy we really care about the local community. Owner Dwight Disney is involved in a variety of local committees and volunteers his time to serve on various boards. Together with his staff, he is keen to give back to the Powell community and that is something he brings to the pharmacy through a variety of programs and events including clothing drives, church missions, food pantries and other local events.
