The Drop Back is a 40 foot custom sport fishing boat with a 12 foot beam. She was constructed in the Florida Keys by a long time boat builder that knew what both Florida Keys fishing captains and their customers liked in a Florida Keys charter fishing boat! The result was a strong, stable, sleek, beautiful charter boat with a large interior for comfort and a giant cockpit for plenty of fishing room!

All of our fishing trips include rods and reels, all additional tackle, bait, fishing licenses, ice, fish cleaning services and fish bags for your catch. The prices listed below are for the entire boat and you may bring up to 6 total passengers. Normal departure times on Day Charters are at 6:45 am.

Spring time in the Florida Keys brings beautiful weather and a wide variety of species to target. The Sailfish bite continues on days with optimal conditions, while the Spring Blackfin Tuna bite turns full blast! Various Spring fishing conditions create mixed bags of many species including Sailfish, Tuna, Wahoo, Mackerel, Mutton and Yellowtail Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, Permit, Amberjack, Shark and a big customer favorite Mahi-Mahi (Dolphin fish).
Summer Dolphin Fishing

Summertime deep sea fishing is a local and family favorite due to the calm seas and hot Mahi action. Giant schools of various sized Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi) migrate via the gulfstream, just offshore of Islamorada.
