Benny Spaulding is a 3rd Generation Offshore Charter Boat Captain. The docks at Miami Pier 5 Marina were Benny's Playgrounds. As a young child he spent numerous hours fishing and working the docks and learning everything about the Traits of the Water from the Best Pioneers of the Sport fishing; his Grandfather Vincent Spaulding (Flying Fish), his Father Benny Spaulding Sr.(Play Baby), and his uncle Kenneth Spaulding Sr. (Sherry D).
During his teen years Benny traveled extensively around the FL Keys, Bahamas, Central America and The Caribbean fishing Tournaments with his father and Brother Kenny Spaulding. Play Baby is a 41 ft. 1957 Norseman Sportfishing machine. She has been part of the Spaulding family since 1963. The Play Baby has been recently renovated and modernized.
