Gibbs Pharmacy started in 1989 by Owner and Lead Pharmacist, Jim Gibbs. Byron Pirtle and Jim became business partners in 1997. As a long-term care pharmacy (LTCP), we provide medications and consultant pharmacy services to long-term care facilities such as nursing homes. As a LTCP, we provide continuous access to a pharmacist as well as offer emergency delivery of medication. Our main focus is to ensure that patients have access to their medication therapies in a timely manner.
Compounding

Gibbs Pharmacy is proud to offer compounding services to each patient. The compounding of medication includes formulation of prescriptions from raw ingredients into dosages or dosage forms that are not commercially available. Since these prescriptions require more time and expertise, we do request extra time to fill these individualized prescriptions.
