Dr. Huang is one of the first graduates to become a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University, the largest Acupuncture school in the northwest, after receiving a Master's degree of AOM from Florida College of Integrative Medicine. His path to Alternative Medicine started after he graduated from medical school in Taiwan as an Occupational Therapist.
At the beginning of the treatment, we will focus on symptom relief which will allow us to get to the root of the problem as treatment progresses. It typically takes about 4 to 6 weeks to make significant changes. After symptoms are relieved and progressing close to maximum relief, we will focus on correcting the source of the problem and stabilizing the treatment so it doesn't return in the future.
