Founded in 1934 by nine employees of the City of Tacoma who weren't getting the financial help they needed at traditional banks, TAPCO Credit Union has always been committed to working families. Originally opened as City Credit Union of Tacoma, our first branch was located under the stairs of the Old City Hall in downtown Tacoma.
