How to get CDL
Report
If you want to become a truck driver, you need to be aware that there is a few requirements to fulfill. First of all, you need to be 21 years old to be able to drive in different states and 18 to drive within your state. Next step is to go to Department of Transportation (DOT) for a physical exam and drug test.

After the completion of the above course the student is given CDL Exams including Pre-Trip Inspection, Skills and Road Test on our parking lot. Columbia Driving School offers day, evening and weekend classes. Our professional staff always tries to meet individual needs of our students.
Our Class A Tractor/Trailer Operator program is designed for entry level driver preparation of the Illinois CDL test and successful employment through an intensive 4 Week program.Field training includes both observation and behind the wheel time. The field training consist of driving in training areas that include a combination of highway, city and heavy traffic driving.
