This story tells the story of a Great Lakes Captain. Captain Pete Alex; who has been a captain since 1988. Pete fishes both Lake Erie and Lake Ontario and has committed much of his life to fishing, education and promotion of the Great Lakes fishery. First, I would like to thank you for taking time to read this and considering Vision Quest as your charter boat choice.

Let me brief you on our fish catching/customer philosophy. Catching fish is like any other job in life, there are those who excel and those who don't in their fields. We excel because of a self determination to be the best in our line of work. You get 100% effort when booking with us. Secondly, we try to see that all customers are comfortable, safe, and enjoy themselves.

Before deciding on that preferred date, keep two things in mind. The first thing is that weekends are the preferred - the first to go dates and of course, limited. Secondly, each specie has a particular time when the fishing is better. With this in mind, one should book a charter in advance, a year is not too far.

2018 Tournament Summary: Another good year and "near" triple championship feat to conclude on Lake Ontario. Boaters, scientists, and weather forecasters now have more Great Lakes coastal information at their fingertips. The buoy will provide information about the lake's wind and wave conditions, as well as water temperature. NOAA's Coastal Storms Program (CSP) funded the purchase of the buoy in partnership with the Great Lakes Observing System (GLOS), a region of the NOAA-led U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS).
