Dr. Jill Henderson grew up in Saginaw, Michigan. She completed her undergrad studies at MSU with a major in microbiology. She attended the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1989. She worked in Flint for 2 years, then started a mobile practice, Stonegate Veterinary Housecalls, in Shiawassee County in 1991.
While operating her Housecall practice Dr. Henderson used Maple River Veterinary Clinic as her home base for surgeries and hospitalizations. In 2014, Dr. Henderson purchased Maple River Veterinary Clinic where she practices small animal medicine and surgery. Her professional interests include behavior and preventative medicine but her passion lies in developing relationships with both her clients and her patients.
