Young children are curious, active and full of energy - and they sometimes have difficulty learning to control their bodies and behavior. They crave structure and thrive in an environment that's supportive, educational, and fun. Studying martial arts is ideal for young children. It provides them with an outlet for their energy.
Taekwondo has established itself as a global sport since its introduction in the 1988 Olympic games. Since then, Team ATMA has produced multiple champions and medalists in the local, state, national, and international tournaments and is proud to host a nationwide membership roster. Team ATMA actively competes in Poomsae and Sparring divisions.

We teach our students to learn in a collaborative environment with an emphasis on sharing, cooperation, and teamwork. Part of Taekwondo training is teaching students to be mindful of themselves and their surroundings. They must focus to succeed in class, and once they learn to do it, they'll be able to do the same thing at school.
