Bill Harrison's maternal ancestors have been making fine wine in Italy since the early 16th Century. His grandfather, Antonio Perelli-Minetti immigrated to California in 1902, and was one of the first winemakers in the State to hold a degree in viticulture and enology. He is widely considered one of the more prominent figures in California's winemaking heritage.
Antonio's daughter, Conchita was born in Torreon, Mexico, where he established a 700-acre vineyard operation before the revolution forced him back to California. Conchita married Bill's father just after the Depression, and her son now carries on the family's tradition of crafting fine wine in the Napa Valley.

Sourced from the Sangiacomo family's Catarina and Green Acres vineyards, grown just south of the town of Sonoma. Half of this wine completes malolactic fermentation, which lends it a softer finish while retaining its naturally bright acidity. Tropical aromatics consist of lemon curd, orange zest, a hint of pineapple and vanilla bean.

Our rustic winery was constructed 36 years ago using rough-hewn redwood and limestone quarried just across the Silverado Trail. Its architecture dates to early California, and emulates a functional building from the mission era. Intimate and down to earth, it is home to both the winery and our tasting room; when you step inside, you can inhale the aroma of the wine aging in the adjacent barrel cellar.
