The first time I accepted payment for a photoshoot, they paid me the equivalent of 2 Chipotle burritos. I was pretty sure I peaked in my professional career that day. When I moved to Asheville 2 years ago I thought people we're going to say "y'all" a lot more. Turns out they don't, but ironically I sure do.
