The first time I can remember playing with a camera was at a Detroit Tigers game when I was about 7. I took my parents' camera with their zoom lens to the game to take photos of the players. On a trip to Yosemite when I was 15, I saw a bunch of photos in the Visitor's Center, bought a book by Ansel Adams, and it turned from a hobby into much more.

Getting ready shots are the most common thing that I see people take out of their wedding photography package and the most common thing that I hear people say they regret not having photos of.
1 vs 2 Photographers

Another question that we get asked a lot about is "Do I need 1 photographer or do I need two at my wedding?" The very first wedding that I ever assisted on (gosh that seems like a long time ago) was in Michigan with about 500 guests. It was two very large families (one Italian-American and one Hindu-American) and both were very close families.
