Ballet Classes

Competitive Dance Team
This local performance-based team offers competitive opportunities for dancers aged 5-18 across three skill levels. Participants receive specialized training in jazz, lyrical, and contemporary styles while building confidence through regional competitions and annual recitals. The program focuses on technical growth, stage presence, and collaborative artistry.
Acro Classes

Artistic Director
Founder of Westchester Dance Academy with 27 years of experience, Kelly combines professional training from School of American Ballet with innovative teaching methods. Recognized in Dance Teacher Magazine, she has developed award-winning choreography and mentored nationally acclaimed dancers.
Jordan Casanova
Jazz Instructor
Professional dancer with extensive credits including So You Think You Can Dance tours and Broadway productions. Certified in Classical Pilates, she brings industry expertise to jazz instruction while maintaining connections with top entertainment professionals.
Victoria DeAndrea-Prieto
Young Children Program Director
Original member of WDA's first competition troupe, Victoria holds advanced degrees in communications and marketing. She specializes in early childhood dance education, teaching ballet, tap, and jazz to students aged 2-12 with a focus on foundational technique.

My daughter was a ballerina who had high standards for a studio as she had trained with one of the best ballet schools in the world, School of American Ballet, the official school of the NYC Ballet. Although she was only 12 when she came to WDA, she knew great talent and training when she saw it. She was sold immediately and before we knew it, she… was competing at the highest level and even clinched a national title, landed a modeling job with Bloch dancewear, and the front cover of Dance Teacher Magazine with director Kelly Burke. She still got solid ballet training but also learned various
