Sr. GrandMaster Yu, a 9th-Dan, World-Class, Internationally Recognized GrandMaster, has dedicated more than a half century to Martial Arts. His expertise includes study, practice, and choreography of various traditional Martial Arts, including Kumdo (Swords) and Artistic Weaponry, with the goal of promoting unity of body, mind and spirit.

Master S.H. Yu Martial Arts' program for Adults & Teens is based on the traditional martial arts - Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Dansudo, Farang-do, Karate, Kung Fu, Judo, Kumdo and ancient weapons. KinderKarate, our dynamic preschool program is offered year round, Tuesday and Thursday, 4:00-4:40pm. Bring your favorite preschooler to a true martial arts experience: We will accept a maximum of 10 children per class session.

Master S.H. Yu Martial Arts is proud to provide preschool karate classes for preschool students in the Oak Park, IL area. Tuition is month-to-month, with seasonal specials. KinderKarate classes are taught by Master Wilson, who holds a Masters in Social Work, along with a Certificate in Early Childhood Education.
