We provide early childhood, early intervention, and social services for qualifying pregnant people and families with children from birth to five throughout Clackamas County. Established in 1966, we began by providing Head Start services to families in our community from at-risk backgrounds. In 1973 we were incorporated as a non-profit and since then have expanded our programs to include Early Head Start and Oregon Healthy Families.

Governance

Our governing bodies consist of our Board of Directors as well as our Policy Council for Head Start and Early Head Start, and our Advisory Council for Healthy Families. Each governing group is comprised of both parents and community members who desire to make a difference in the lives of children and families in our community.

Our home-based programs are designed to support the unique needs of each family through comprehensive services delivered in the home environment. Our home visitors honor the essential role of parents and primary caregivers in each child's life.
During their time together, home visitors partner with each family to celebrate family strengths, identify challenges, and set family and child goals that reflect their individual needs, culture, and values.They provide free screenings, information, encouragement, and resources to support healthy attachments, child development, positive parenting, family stability and well-being, and much more.
