Renee Mann, owner of North Shore Pet Sitters, has been around animals all her life. I remember two dogs we had growing up; one was a shepherd named Pharaoh, and the other a dachshund named Fritzie. They were both so smart and loyal. When Renee left home after high school, she moved to Kansas City and fell in love.

I found a tiny kitten at a state park that climbed right into my lap. I named her Roadside, and I loved her more than anything. She and her son, Ace, lived by my side for the next 18 years. We went through so many changes and moved from place to place over the years, but they were the constant in my life.

For dogs, we generally do three visits a day, spaced 8 hours apart. For cats and other animals, we usually do 1-2 visits per day often depending on feeding or medication schedules. Some clients book two visits per day for their cats for the companionship. The visit will last 30-40 minutes for up to 3 animals; more time is allotted as the number of pets increases.

What's the first step? When you contact us, we will ask you about the type of service you require, the number and type of pets you have, their personalities and specific needs. Before beginning service, we will arrange a free consultation to take place at your home at your convenience. Here you will meet your sitter, fill out the paperwork and give us the keys.
