All walkers wear masks, sanitize their hands before and after each visit and follow our "no contact hand off" procedure.

Dogs Deserve It LLC was formed in response to the pressing need for qualified dog walkers and pet care providers in the Chicagoland area. Owner, Lauren Pietrocarlo, identified some shortcomings in the present dog walking industry and decided to address the issues. A dog lover herself, Lauren was aware of the importance of the daily walk to the health and well being of her pet.

An additional $5 charge added per dog. For the safety of our walkers and instruction of our dogs, we will walk NO MORE than 2 dogs per client. Our customizable puppy services are designed to provide your young puppy with exercise, potty time, feeding and/or playtime depending on what your young pup needs!

Please tell us what mode of transportation you use to navigate through Chicago e.g. car or bike. We do not accept applicants that commute by foot or CTA.* There are a variety of collars and harnesses used by our clients. Four popular options include a harness that slips over their head and belts around the dog's body (example like the Puppia brand harnesses), an easy walker harness, a gentle leader, and a prong collar.
