Teen Training

The total number of hours your teen will drive with a Certified Professional Driving Instructor included in each package. The Texas "Less Tears-More Years" Act requires a parent, guardian or professional instructor to drive with each teen for 30 hours, no more than one per day, and 10 of which must be at night, following completion of their initial driving course.

Ready to Arrive the SafeWay? Before you enroll, make sure you're eligible by reviewing the Road Test requirements below. Whether you take your Road Test with SafeWay Driving or wait for an appointment at the DPS, you will need to complete the IMPACT Texas Teen Two Hour Course. The IMPACT Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) was developed by the Department of Public Safety with the goal of saving lives through awareness and education.

Have you started a course with a different provider and are unsatisfied with your driving experience? Either way, we now offer two packages you can choose from to transfer to Safeway Driving to complete your drivers ed program!
