I was born in the panhandle of Florida on Pensacola beach where fishing and playing in the ocean was a big part of my life. I moved to the Florida Keys when I was 15 and learned all aspects of commercial fishing for about 15 years from long-lining for shark and swordfish to shrimp boats, net boats, lobster and crab boats and hook and line fishing for snapper and grouper.
I have spent most of my life on the water. I have been in the Naples area about 15 years now. I spent 10 years in the Everglades National park as a captain and a naturalist guide, so I have extensive knowledge of the SW Florida Ecosystem as well as all of its flora and fauna.

We are licensed for six passengers per boat. Children and adults, whatever age or size, are considered a passenger according to the U.S. Coast Guard. If we would take more than 6 passengers, we could lose our captain's license forever. Most private charter boats are licensed for 6 passengers in Florida regardless of the size (carrying capacity) of the boat.
