Needs and Principles
Report
We at Columbus Preschool believe there are basic needs of preschool-aged children, and we try to meet them through our program. Children need to grow in independence, to learn to make choices and decisions on their own. Children need to develop large and small motor (muscle) skills through the use of toys, art activities, creative movement, etc.
Teachers
Report
Mrs. Carter has been teaching at Columbus Preschool since 2015, but she's been around much longer. Her oldest two children attended the school, and during that time she served as president of our volunteer board of directors. In 2008 she taught 4K at Cardinal Country Daycare in Columbus, and then stayed home with her kids for a few years.
