As our name would imply, Black Diamond Networks is a company built on connections. In February of 1999, BDN started out as a Boston-area IT contract and direct-hire staffing company. The goal was to build the company by focusing on one client and one contractor at a time, providing both with the resources they needed to succeed.
During its first 5 years, the firm grew steadily through challenging economic times. In 2005, the company added an additional focus in the national market for contract Engineering resources. That soon became the largest segment of the company's services, and helped Black Diamond again forge ahead in the face of economic recession - this time the housing market collapse of 2008-2009.
