Our dance studio specializes in teaching private and group class lessons to all levels of dancers, from the complete beginner to the most advanced dancer. We are one of the first schools in Orlando to train a World pro-am champion. Whether you are looking to just feel comfortable in a general social dance setting or get ready to dance at a competition or showcase, our experienced and friendly instructors are ready and willing to work with you!
We are excited to announce that the Longwood Ballroom has partially reopened for dance lessons! Private Dance Lessons are currently being offered with social distancing rules in place. If it is possible to maintain 6 feet of distance, face masks are not required (i.e. a single person working on side by side technique with their instructor or a couple who is dancing together where the instructor is able to stand away).

The Longwood Ballroom School of Dance was founded in 1993. We are one of the premiere ballroom dance studios in the Orlando and Central Florida area with a beautiful floating dance floor of approximately 1500 sq. Our dance studio specializes in teaching private and group class lessons to all levels of dancers, from the complete beginner to the most advanced dancer.
Private Lessons

Private lessons are personalized lessons that can be taken individually or as a couple. They are 45 minutes in length and are customized around your schedule. Individualized instruction allows instructors to address technical problem areas and enhance the quality of your dancing as a whole. They are the best way to increase the level and quality of your dancing in the most efficient amount of time.
Group Classes

Group classes are a great cost effective way for you to learn steps to a variety of dances, while having fun and becoming a part of the Longwood Ballroom family. 1. Cost effective. Group classes are much more economical than private lessons. 2. No partner required. You do not need to bring a dance partner to participate in any of our classes.
Kids Classes

We offer private dance lessons for kids at a discounted rate. These classes are a great way for kids to learn steps and technique to a variety of dances, while having fun and getting in shape. These classes also teach valuable life lessons, such as confidence, posture, familiarity with music & dance, and respect for others.
Weddings
