As a healthcare office, we are required to meet a higher standard of precaution. We have relaxed many of our protocols, however, there are some that we must continue to require. I'm Gregory Kraskowsky, aka Dr. K, and I have been the owner of Alamo Optometry since 2007. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California- Irvine in 1996 and my Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2000. Coming to the office every day is a privilege and I enjoy serving the eye care needs of the local community.

Many patients have both vision plans and medical insurance. They are very different in terms of the services they cover, and it's important for our patients to understand these differences. Vision plans cover routine vision wellness exams, along with determining a prescription for glasses and contacts.
