What are Freemark Abbey's tasting room hours?
Our tasting room is open Wednesday through Monday from 10 AM to 5 PM. We are closed on Tuesdays for regular tastings but host private appointments year-round.

Visited the winery on 9/22/21 and ordered wine after our tasting. Was told that the wine would ship on Monday 9/27. Should have gotten on 9/29,but nothing, 9/30 nothing, 10/1 nothing. Called a few times to inquire to get a tracking number and all you can do is leave a message of which nobody calls you back. We have been drinking their wines for many years but if this is the customer service one gets now, it might be time to start buying Mondavi's spotlight series wines. On 10/5 Bruce writes: Now I see an unauthorized charge on my card for $439.95 from them. Can I get any more PO'd at

We had a large group tasting with Gary and everything was great! His expertise was evident! The atmosphere of the board room was perfect and of course the wine was excellent! And I received my order as planned.

We meet the sommelier for Freemark Abbey at another tasting and she was nice of us to give us a complimentary tasting. Never one to turn down free wine we stopped by the next day and had a lovely time. The tasting room is unassuming and the wines are delicious. We felt like we found a hidden gem! We look out for Freemark Abbey on menus and in wine stores now and usually end up ordering!

Unbelievable!!! Gary really set the tempo and kept us engaged. The wine was outstanding and we ordered 6 bottles and became a wine club member! The atmosphere is very inviting and the music had me tapping my feet (all genres). I would recommend this place to everyone!

A great tasting menu especially if you love Cabs and reds. You get a great range of lighter reds to very robust full reds. We loved the 130 anniversary blend! Tony our host was wonderful.
