Patient Evaluation
Our process begins with a comprehensive evaluation of range of motion, strength, sensory function, and coordination. This detailed assessment forms the foundation for personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique diagnosis and goals. Our therapists use evidence-based protocols to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective rehabilitation strategies.
Custom Orthoses/Splints
We design and fabricate custom orthoses to support healing, protect injured areas, and improve function. These devices are tailored to individual anatomy and specific conditions, ensuring optimal comfort and effectiveness. Our approach combines advanced materials with clinical expertise to address both acute injuries and chronic conditions.
Prosthetic Training
Our specialists provide comprehensive training for patients adapting to upper limb prosthetics. This includes functional use, daily activity integration, and psychological support. We collaborate with national prosthetic providers to ensure continuity of care, particularly for military veterans and trauma survivors requiring advanced prosthetic systems.
Wound Care & Scar Management
We employ specialized techniques to manage post-surgical wounds and minimize scar-related complications. Treatments include silicone therapy, massage, and pressure garments to improve tissue healing. Our protocols address both functional restoration and aesthetic concerns for patients recovering from trauma or surgery.
Edema Control
Our therapists use advanced methods like compression therapy, elevation techniques, and manual lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling. This specialized care helps patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions affecting the upper extremities. We focus on restoring normal tissue function and preventing long-term complications.

Kristin is absolutely the best! We worked with her after our oldest son had a hand injury with a log splitter. She is patient, creative, and practical. I would not hesitate to recommend Hand & Arm Therapy to anyone.

Staff is friendly enough. The way into their parking is super janky though. Once you make it in the other signs will direct where to go, but a sign at the road would be beneficial.
