BUT....Dr S. Put me at rest in no time. He explained my procedure, made me feel confident in his ability and I left feeling well cared for! Thank you Dr & staff!
I broke a front tooth off at the gum line...he extracted it basically without any pain & put a screw into my gum...again slightly uncomfortable with anxiety but no physical pain.
Thank you Dr. S for being confident in your profession. Thank you for having a sense of humor...you made my experience very comfortable.

This review is way long overdue! Let me start by saying they are absolutely amazing!! All of the staff members are extremely helpful they go above & beyond to make sure your comfortable & they actually care for you as a patient. I originally found them while searching yelp for a good dentist I saw some of the amazing transformations they had done to smiles.
I remember my first appointment I was extremely nervous especially not having great dental experiences in the past & they totally put my mind at ease I felt so comfortable & like they were there to truly help me. Just my visit

This dentistry is by far the best I have ever been to. The staff are professional and very caring. The doctor made sure i was comfortable the entire time i was getting a filling and that means a lot to me since I'm always very anxious about going to the dentist. He even joked and made me laugh quite a bit! I love this place!

I am so happy with the results I received from Dr. Safaei in just 3 short months. I was feeling discouraged after visiting a couple of orthodontist around the Bakersfield area until I found SDDS. The first thing that made me commit was he asked me what I wanted. How I wanted my smile to look. What was my goal in getting ortho work. Haven't been a patient there, but I just called with a question about if they accepted my dental insurance because I have tooth ache. The man that answered was so helpful and kind even though they don't accept my dental insurance. He was super helpful and said his office could see me and just bill me as a cash patient if I wasn't able to find someone to see me that accepts my insurance. Much more helpful than any of the other places that I've called today. Such a nice guy

Dr Safaei is really kind and patient. I had an appt at 12PM today and they let me know I could go in at 11:30AM. I got my x-rays done but the only downfall was that Dr Safaei told me that I wasn't able to get 2 of my 4 wisdom teeth extracted because of he doesn't put patients under. The reason for my 5-Star reviews is because he was completely honest and didn't try to take the business away from someone who could just do all the work and take less time. I really appreciated that. He answered all my questions and was very thorough with my teeth cleaning. Everything in total came out

I was VERY happy about my results! I've been going to Dr. Safaei for over two years while I was living in Bakersfield and he and his staff are nothing short of great. They were super helpful, kind, and responsive to anything I needed or had doubts on. I actually was recommended to him after another dentist messed up some dental work and my bite was severely altered. He was able to fix it and make my bite feel like before. Highly recommend him!

Dr Safaei is one of the best dentists that I've ever had, and his staff are amazing. I have been absolutely terrified of going to the dentist since I had a horrible experience as a child. The first time I went to see him I had avoided the dentist for a few years but was having pain in one of my teeth and couldn't avoid it any longer. When I first arrived at his office I was shaking and crying out of fear, he immediately did what he could to put me at ease. No more dreaded dental visits! I just came from my appointment and I can honestly say I couldn't have had a better experience. First, their website is fantastic. I was able to take a tour of the office and fill out my forms ahead of time. There was no wait when I got there...I was taken back at precisely my appt time. Had an urgent dental problem, filling from my front top two incisors fell off, leaving a huge gap, yelped dentists in bakersfield as i'm not originally from here, saw sdds dental, called them, they took me in within 10 minutes.

BEWARE! I have "tried" to have this dentist work on me 3 different times. Each time he has either referred me out or refused to do the treatment recommended by a specialist.
The first visit was to see if I could get a filling done and then crown a tooth in the front of my smile. I always have such easy and stress free appointments with Dr. Safaei. The office is very clean and relaxing-- not like an average dentist office. I find that this helps me relax and not get so nervous. I never find that my appointments are rushed and Dr. Safaei does not leave me for long periods of time. However, I am convinced they were trying to fool me and make thousands off of me. After being examined I was told that I needed multiple crowns, 3 or 4 if I recall correctly. That sounded absurd to me so not only did I get a 2nd opinion, but also a 3rd opinion, and neither of the other 2 dentists said I needed any crowns, but only a few fillings.
If youre suggested extreme/expensive procedures I suggest you always get a second opinion.

This office is very nice. There are cute books to read in the front (Keep calm and carry on, Screw calm and get angry), and the new patient paperwork was conveniently highlighted for me. I was seen quickly, and the doctor explained everything very well. I haven't had any work done yet, but Dr Safaei was entertaining (I liked his robot impression). I did get my cleaning today and everything went smoothly.
