Your eye examination will determine an accurate spectacle and/or contact lens prescription as well as checking for and monitoring of eye diseases including cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.

Dr. Melcher graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Business, then went on to Nova Southeastern University to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1999. During her education she completed three externships, the first being the study of low vision and low vision aides from Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami.

Being from a medical background, Tania loves helping people and will assist you in frame selection, educating you on the latest most custom options for your eyewear, and taking precise measurements. On her free time, Tanya enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors and on the water with her family. Sharon has been in the optical field for 33 years and is our most experienced optical technician.
